Information Privacy Policy

This web site (“the Site”) and the training and educational services accessed through it (“the Services”) are operated and provided by Pivot Point Trading Pty Ltd ABN [47 085 881 695] (“we,” “us,” “our”).

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users’ and clients’ personal information, and to providing safety and security for anyone interacting with the Site.  The purpose of this Information Privacy Policy is to be open about what kind of information we collect about users and clients, how we use that information, and which other parties it may be provided to.

This policy may be amended by us from time to time.  Amendments take effect when published on the Site.

1. Collection of Information

When users register with the Site generally, or when clients register to acquire Services through the Site, we collect personal information which may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and demographic information such as gender and date of birth.  We collect that information in order to identify and communicate effectively with our users and clients and to better understand our user and client demographics.

Credit card details or other payment method information may also be collected when clients pay us for Services.  That payment method information is not stored permanently by us.

Users and clients may optionally submit additional content to the Site, including product reviews, ratings, feedback, editorial or discussion forum content.  We collect that information to improve users’ and clients’ experiences using the Site and the Services.

We collect statistical information from registered and unregistered users and from clients to monitor and manage the use of the Site and the Services.  That information includes the numbers and frequency of visits to various parts of the Site and the use of various components of the Services.  We use such data in aggregate for statistical and analysis purposes.

We use personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected.  In most cases, this is for the purpose of communicating with our users and clients, and providing ancillary services such as client newsletters, promotions and recommendations related to the Site’s subject matter.  In particular, we may send users and clients newsletters by email, send information and promotions by SMS, and send promotional offers made by us or our partners.

We do not use the personal information we collect for any other purposes without the consent of the user or client concerned.

To opt out of receiving communications such as newsletters, users or clients should follow the opt-out instructions on the communication concerned.

In the case of content submitted by users and clients, we may use such content on the Site, and in other internet properties and streams that we control.

We do not normally provide specific personal information collected by us in the course of operating the Site or providing the Services to other entities.  We do not sell that information or access to it.
